CPP Denture Studio sees patients directly to provide new dentures and adapt existing dentures to meet the needs of the individuals as per the GDPR( General Data Protection Regulations) this means we fulfil the role of the data controller, therefore we must protect any additional patient data that we receive in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR.

For a new denture consultation CPP Denture Studio will collect the following data from either the referring dental practitioner or the prospective patient directly.The information we may collect is included in the following list and is for the sole purpose of supplying a suitable dental appliance that complies with the requirements of the patients’ prescription.

  • Patient name
  • Date of birth
  • Home address
  • Telephone number(s)
  • Other contact detail e.g email address
  • Name of patients’ dental practice
  • Medical information
  • Dental information including tooth shade

CPP Denture Studio Ltd. Recognises the importance of ensuring personal data is collected. Stored and secured in line with GDPR and this is reflected in this privacy policy.

All data collected is classed as confidential and,where the data subject engages CPP Denture Studio Ltd to privde services, or goods, this data will be stored as hard copy only in locked filing cabinets for 11 years as this form part of a medical record whose storage is governed by existing UK law. Access to this data is limited to Caroline Persaud only.

Sharing of this data

This data is not shared with any third party other than where express consent has been granted to share with another dental professional whose goods or services may be required to complete the contractual obligation of this company with the data subject.

Where an initial consultation with CPP Denture Studio Ltd. Does not result in this firms engagement to provide goods or services, all records held will be securely deleted/disposed after a 14 day period.
